Snowbounders Ski Club,
located in Anaheim, California draws members from Anaheim, Fullerton, Yorba
Linda, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Brea, La Habra and several
other Basin cities. Activated in 1962, the club has been in continuous
operation.
Snowbounders Ski Club is an organization of active, mature adults (over 50) who gather for the primary
purpose of arranging and participating in quality snow sport trips. Après and
sport events are scheduled year 'round. Regular meetings held between
September and May provide members with interaction, coordination of activity
information and opportunity to register for trips and events. The Ski Scoop
is published monthly to provide additional activity information, trip
reservation forms, calendar of events and details of trips past and future.
The club supports recreational snow skiing, snowboarding and cross country
skiing. Après ski activities on trips can include dog sledding, hot air
ballooning, ice skating dinner parties. At home events cover bicycling,
kayaking, B.B.Q.s, ice cream/pool social, and progressive dinner. The Club is a
member of the Orange Council of Ski clubs and also a member of the Far West
